Role - Part Time Residential Support WorkerLocation - CardiffYou will be working minimum 23 hours per week (days, nights, weekends)Rate £8.91 - £9.94 per hourIt takes a special type of person to dedicate their career to supporting others. Your patience, empathy and caring nature make you the ideal person to support the individuals who live at our residential school in Coryton, Cardiff.Much of your role will be spent supporting autistic children with day-to-day tasks, enabling them the opportunity to live as independent and fulfilling life as possible. On good days, you'll take them on day trips, help them prepare meals and make sure they're getting out and about enjoying some of Wales beautiful countryside.Other days, you'll need to take on a more "Carer" focused role, helping vulnerable children with personal hygiene and care.Sometimes, if the person you're supporting is having a hard day, you'll need to support and keep them safe whilst they calm down. It's ok though, you'll be given all the training you need.
