2 Band 3 Patient Experience Supervisors required on a temporary basis based in Ulster Hospital, Dundonald.

Role: Band 3 Patient Experience Supervisor

Rate of Pay: £10.09 per hour

Location: Ulster Hospital, Dundonald

Hours: 30 hours

Duration: 12 weeks

Job Purpose

The Post holder will organise and co-ordinate all Patient Experience activities in designated area responsibility. They will provide Patient Experience Services in a customer-focused manner ensuring delivery of appropriate quality services within the defined budget allocation.

Main Responsibilities:

The Post holder will be responsible for leading and planning the work teams and individuals to achieve Team objectives.
In the event of staff shortage the post holder will be expected to carry out a range of patient experience tasks.
To ensure that the agreed cleaning schedules and frequencies are adhered to as agreed with the Assistant Operational Manager.
To ensure the use of the correct colour coded equipment and materials in line with Trust Infection Control Policy and to adhere to C.O.S.H.H. Regulations at all times.
To maintain the Patient Experience Uniform Policy, ensuring that high standards of appearance and presentation of all staff are maintained at all times.
To ensure the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment / clothing, issued and provided by the Trust, including staff uniform and identity passes.
Take appropriate action to ensure Trust Policies and procedures are adhered to.
To assist the Operational Manager as appropriate with the investigation and reporting of incidents, accidents and losses in line with departmental / Trust policy
To be responsible for the safe and secure use, keeping and return of any ward / departmental keys
To ensure that Health & Safety Regulations are observed including equipment conditions and repairs
To ensure that faults are reported and, liaising with the maintenance department to ensure that any repairs are carried out effectively and in line with departmental policies

Essential Criteria:

A supervisory/management qualification at NVQ level 2 or equivalent
Or worked for at least 3 years where you have gained experience within a service discipline or department such as Patient Experience
Written and oral communication skills
Organisational Skills
Ability to develop good working relationships with Officers in all grades and professions
Knowledge of Domestic & Porter duties
