What you will be doing

We are looking for an experienced Pensions and Reward Manager who will be responsible for the ongoing Pensions strategy, management of pension-related projects, and provision of pensions support to Thames Water managers and colleagues,

This role manages the in-house pensions team and represents Thames Water at the DB Trustee Board and Sub-committee meetings as well as DC Governance Committee. This role is also responsible for the management of pay and incentives for Executive and Senior Managers including the facilitation of the Remuneration Committee.

We're looking for you to:
  • Have solid experience in managing a Pensions strategy for a 5000+ employee unionised business, including knowledge of both DB and DC schemes.
  • Comfortable working in partnership with scheme Trustees - as you will develop and maintain pensions policy group-wide, recommend and implement policy changes to Company and Trustee Boards and ensure corporate objectives and legislative requirements continue to be met.
  • Experience in managing triennial DB scheme valuation and processes
  • Understanding of how Remuneration Committee's work and relevant governance requirements
  • Be highly organised, planned, and proactive
  • Comfortable working in partnership with scheme Trustees
