Operate Digital's purpose is to reflect the importance of digitisation in our strategy and execution through:
digitising our operational delivery via the Delivery Office
expanding data and analytics into the digital platforms that we build
creating digital assets for re-use in Execution Managed Service (EMS) solutions
The Operate Digital team is responsible for:
defining an industrialised approach that promotes reuse from our digital asset library and can deliver at scale and accelerate EMS propositions
focus on strategic alignment with wider PwC technology capabilities, identifying and delivering solutions that unlock market opportunity and enable transformation
enable and grow demand into the Advanced Research and Engineering Centre (ARC) and Projects & Delivery (P&D) to build and run differentiated execution managed services and to help drive digitised end-to-end delivery in via with the Delivery Office
As the People and Culture Leader, you will report into the Office of the CTO lead and play a key role in embedding Operate Digital's values through the leadership and delivery of key strategic initiatives relating to our organisational culture and change. We are seeking an individual who is self driven and can apply their experience to bring the role to life with new ideas to inspire and develop those within our technology organisation and attract key talent beyond it.
You will have a broad grounding in talent management and experience of leading successful talent acquisition, learning and development, diversity & inclusion, and employee engagement programmes. Beyond this, we are looking for you to champion and role model our values and the culture we aspire to create, inspiring our staff with your vision of what we can achieve together.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Setting the organisational People Culture and Change strategy for the Operate technology organisation and delivering the goals to support our new strategy.
Delivering a safe and inclusive working culture programme and supporting our work to have an active culture of belonging.
Developing and modelling desired leadership behaviours across Operate Digital, supported by an effective, high-quality suite of policies, processes, tools, internal communication, and learning and development support, acknowledging different cultures, contexts and flexible working arrangements.
Providing advice and support to the CTO, Directors and other senior staff on key People, culture, and employee relations issues.
Being the Operate lead for the CMTT sponsored Technology Talent Council, ensuring active contribution from Operate including the application and communication of new initiatives.
Creating and executing an effective communication and knowledge strategy, ensuring strong engagement and consistent, regular key messaging across and beyond the Operate Digital group.
Contributing to strategic programmes being led by Operate Digital.
Helping to ensure we have the right skills in our organisation that align with current and future demand trends and help us achieve our business goals.
Work closely with ARC and P&D and with wider connections with PwC central technology groups and the Lines of Service.
PwC's Operate Digital delivers technology asset led transformation to advance our operational delivery capability. It identifies, creates and accelerates EMS propositions and applies standards, best practices and governance to our solutions. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with extensive people and culture experience who will define, establish and lead Operate Digital's P&C strategy. The ideal candidate will have:
Extensive P&C experience with a track record for action led results.
Positive leadership qualities to help set the cultural tone for the organisation.
A knowledge of the technology talent market including trends, common roles, attraction methods and upskilling programmes.
Experience in implementing learning and development frameworks.
Agility to work in a dynamic evolving environment supporting multiple types of work streams and projects.
Ability to articulate the case for change across an organisation.
Proven ability to be a team player, while retaining an ability to work independently with little supervision.
