G4S Health Services has been one of the leading providers to all justice health environments since 2005. Working across Secure, Custody and Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARC) across the UK, we provide primary care and forensic healthcare to a wide range of patients.
HCPs are RNs or Paramedics who are qualified Healthcare Professionals. We are looking for exceptional people to join our team where you can become a key member of a highly respected

Operating with a much higher level of autonomy and independence to the NHS, your actions can be life-saving when you consider the physical and mental challenges of people with who often have a high dependency on drugs and alcohol, and exhibit difficult behaviours.
As a peripatetic HCP you will be based at Kendal Police station but during your shift could travel to any of the other police stations in Cumbria as well as to hospitals to obtain forensic samples from people following road traffic accidents. A company car will be provided on a pool basis, again based at Kendal.
This is an exciting time to be joining the custody forensic team, and you will be given the opportunity to undertake forensic sample training as well as extended clinical skills such as post TASER assessments and recognition of life extinct.
So if you are looking for a challenge outside the normal clinical setting, with an opportunity for career progression then we would like to hear from you!

Disability Confident
A Disability Confident application was made a couple of years ago for the whole of G4S UK and Ireland, although the submission (including case studies etc) came from ESS. At that time Level 2 was awarded. Submission was recently made for re accreditation - but this time for Level 3 - and attached is the certificate confirming their achievement (which was again awarded to the whole business).
