Job description
We are looking for a Level Access Shower Installer to join the team based from our Staffordshire Home Improvement Agency Service Centre. You will be responsible for installing Level Access Showers and various other bathroom alterations or adaptations.

The Role:
Installation of Level Access Showers (including all aspects of this, plumbing, plastering, joinery, tiling etc.), working directly from schedule of works and technical drawings, complying with building regulations, WRAS regulations and DFG legislation
Installing various types of grab rails, and other equipment requiring fixing/installation to walls
Managing the logistical aspect including travel, lone working & health safety to ensure all installations are progressed on time and within the set KPI's for each
Coordinate all activities to comply with safe systems of work, risk assessments, and legislation
Liaise with other Contractors, including, flooring, electricians, to ensure completion of works within set KPI
Liaise with Service Users so they are aware of progress of their installation throughout and completion of project
This position may require you to enter CQC regulated Care Homes. As such, and in line with Government legislation introduced on November 11th 2021, you will be required to provide proof of full vaccination or medical exemption status as a condition of employment.
About you:
Knowledge of building regulations and safe systems of work and other trades.
Experience of adaption works and CDM regulations
Experience in plumbing, carpentry, tiling, plastering, with wet room flooring preferred
The ability to prioritise work and self-manage jobs
Excellent communication skills are required to interact with internal staff, and Service Users
Must be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
Qualifications required:
NVQ Level 2 Plumbing, or technical equivalent, preferably Level 3
IOSH training certificate - preferred
A full driving licence for at least 3 years which qualifies you to drive a light goods van, no more than 6 points & had no serious convictions

Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
