*Job Role: Year 1 Primary Teacher *

*Location - Greenwich, London*

HRGO Education are in search of a Year 1 Teacher that can inspire young learners.

HRGO Education are working with a "Good rated" Primary school in Greenwich, London who are seeking a full-time Year 1 Teacher from October 2021. They are looking for somebody with a passion for KS1 teaching that enjoys inspiring young learners. You will be taking over a class of 25 pupils that are making good academic progress. There is a full-time learning support assistant with the class. Much of the longer-term planning for the academic year is already in place.

This is a one- form entry, Catholic school, rated "Good" by Ofsted. It's ethos is family orientated and they want their pupils to be "ambitious, courageous and empowered" There is a joint focus on core subjects and more vocational activities too. They aim to create a dynamic learning environment for their pupils.

The school is situated in Kidbrooke village, a newly developed Leafy residentialk area in Greenwich, London. There are excellent public transport links as well as a secure car park for drivers. It is easy to get there by Bus, Train or Car.

This is a Full Time Year 1 teacher role (one year maternity cover) and salary will be according to your Scale Point (Inner London pay scale)

*Suitable Year 1 Primary Teacher candidates: *

· QTS or equivalent, NQTs will be considered with KS1 experience

· Will have the ability to inspire pupils, plan and deliver engaging lower KS1 lessons

· Are willing to learn new teaching strategies and are reflective practitioners

· Can work well with other members of the Year 1 phase team including learning support assistants

· Will be supportive of the school's Catholic ethos

· Organised, friendly, enthusiastic, creative and with strong behaviour management
