Production Cutover Lead

Job description

We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who required a Production Cutover Lead - Remote (with expenses payable where applicable)for one of their public sector Clients based in UK.

• IR35: This role is inside of IR35
• Initial duration: 3-4 months

Role:

Ensure that every task, key date, key dependency regarding cutover activities is documented and ensure that each functional area can successfully go live on time and with minimal to no issues.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with each of the streams (including Legacy) to obtain and document the key cutoff dates, start dates, no later than dates, etc.
• Obtain alignment from all of the streams so that the dependencies are clearly defined and documented at a high level, recommend a color code excel or the use of the add-on to Excel for planning
• Agree with the stream leads on the level of detail required and the responsibilities of each stream lead versus the cutover manager. For example, NAR had a PM for HR and a PM for Finance that managed the detailed plan, and therefore a higher level plan was maintained by the cutover manager, or in the case of Finance, the plan was linked to the overall plan
• Collect the progress against the tasks through daily cadence calls, document any issues, concerns, challenges, risks and follow up on them to resolution
• Provide status updates to steerco on the progress, issues, concerns
• Basically, be the conductor for all the streams making sure that no ones loses sight of the tasks and their timing.
• Requires some technical background and also stakeholder engagement/management
