Job description

Prospectus is delighted to be working with The International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS) as they look to recruit a new Project and Partnerships Officer to support the International Foundation for Dermatology (IFD) across all aspects of its work.

The ILDS is a non-governmental organisation that promotes the improvement of dermatological care, education and science across the world and the International Foundation for Dermatology was created to carry out the humanitarian work of the ILDS.

As the ILDS's Project and Partnerships Officer, you will provide project and partnership support to the IFD, including providing administrative support to the chair and committee, maintaining and developing constructive relationships with IFD partners and developing appropriate annual and project plans. Supporting specific projects may include undertaking research, drafting reports and developing briefing papers. Editorial support is also a key component in this role and you will provide support at all stages of the hardcopy and online publication of the Community Skin Health journal, including editing and proofreading and liaising with editors.

To be a successful candidate, you will have relevant experience in a project support position with excellent project management skills. You will have proven experience building effective relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders and a good understanding of the project planning cycle. Editorial and publishing skills or experience would be highly valued, as would a flexible and adaptable attitude. It is expected you will be prepared to work as part of a small team and have a proactive approach to working with ability to use your initiative.

Please note that travel will be required as part of this role in 2022 should Covid restrictions permit.
