Here at Cavendish Nuclear, we are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to help assist on the MEH alliance; working on Hinkley Point C. With this role, you will be leading a growing team and focusing predominantly, on: planning, reporting and surveying mainly, on the plates required on site (40,000) high tolerance.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for an individual who has had prior experience, being a Project Engineer within a major infrastructure, project-based environment. You will need to have come from a highly regulated industry, due to the nature of the work being carried out on HPC; ideally this will be in the nuclear sector, however, other industries such as oil and gas would also, be considered.

What will you be doing?

Your duties will include:
* Provide and demonstrate a positive HSE leadership, building a strong and compliant HS&E culture throughout the whole construction life cycle of the Project. Ensuring all site activities are undertaken safely and responsibly, and in accordance with the CDM Regulations.
* Review emergent engineering tasks, review and develop a response of seek support from the wider engineering team.
* Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
* Raising requests for information and monitoring progress.
* Software MSP knowledge would be ideal.

The experience you'll bring

* HNC/HND in relevant technical field. (Mechanical/Civils Bias) - Construction/EPC.
* High Hazard background.
* 2-4 years' industry experience as a Project Engineer within a major infrastructure project-based environment.
* Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher).
