Project Manager Live Music Programme

The Live Music Manager will support the delivery of live music experiences across South England and Channel Islands, improving the health and wellbeing of children and adults through the healing power of live music.

Position: Live Music Manager South England and Channel Islands

Location: Flexible working

with some office-based activity to be agreed

Hours: Full - time (37.5 hours)

Salary: £25k-£26.5k (DOE)

Contract: Permanent

Benefits: Excellent benefits package including 35 days per year (inclusive of bank holidays), Employer Pension contribution of 5%, Death in Service benefits, access to an Employee Assistance Programme and the opportunity for flexible working.

The Role

The Live Music Manager works with professional musicians to share live music with people who may not otherwise get to experience it. This includes those living with dementia, who have mental health problems, or who are seriously ill.

The Live Music Manager is responsible for the coordinators within their designated geographic area of responsibility. They will ensure delivery of the annual programme of live music experiences, in care homes, hospitals, hospices, care homes and the community. Supporting programmes with partner organisations, in line with the organisation's strategy and operational plan.

About You

You will have an understanding of Health and Social care frameworks and proven administration experience ideally delivering a similar provision within health and social care or arts setting and a passion for live music.

You will have:

  • Experience of supporting and managing a small team
  • Effective communication skills, working with partners to showcase the impact of our work across different audiences including Health and Care, participants and funders
  • Financial and resource management experience
  • Proficient skills in using MS Office and database systems
