Job description

A vocational awarding body based in the heart of the Midlands are recruiting for a Qualifications and Assessment Developer on a permanent, part-time basis (0.6). This is a newly created role to develop deliver and review the organisation's qualifications and units, learning resources and support materials.

The Qualifications & Assessment Developer will develop proposals for qualification development and submit them for review as well as contributing to the evaluation and review of units of assessment, qualifications, learning support materials, assessments, e-learning and assessment packages. You will also ensure the organisation and external stakeholders and kept informed of all relevant aspects of the current and future portfolio of qualifications, resources and units.

This is an ideal role for someone who has an understanding of cross sector post 16 education and lifelong learning, as well as awarding body and regulatory structures. You will have previous experience of credit-based qualifications and product development and an understanding of current funding legislation. As well as experience of developing online learning materials, you will also have strong experience of developing qualifications and supporting materials.

The organisation is currently operating a blended approach to working with some people in the office and some people working from home. Whilst their ideal would be someone who can be in the office when needed they are open to discussing flexible working and would consider remote applications.
