Job description
The Real Estate and Design business function's purpose is to make our places of work suitable for the needs of our people. This includes how we design our office spaces, the technology to support your experience of the office and making a place of work that drives and enables our future way of working.You will be part of the analytics team which evidences our decision making. Whether this is determining where our offices are located, the size of our offices, or the way the office is designed, data plays a central role in making sure the workplace is fit for the needs of our people.This analytics team prides itself on leading the way in how we gather and interpret data available within the business, working across multiple PwC functions to implement a best in class approach to providing analytical insights to our Firm's leadership. In addition to this, we foster a culture of innovation, continuously challenging ourselves to try new technologies and produce new insights. It is this reputation that is the reason why this team has been so pivotal in the Firm's response to Covid, providing daily analytics to the Firm's most senior stakeholders.We are looking for experts in data visualisation techniques to join our team, with opportunities to create visual outputs that will help our Firm make critical Real Estate decisions, challenge our current way of thinking and drive real change. The greatest part of this role is that you will see that the outcomes of your analytics have a real, tangible outcome that truly influences the Firm.
- Advanced user of Tableau or PowerBI data visualisation software.
- Creative and eloquent in the way they articulate a story with data.
- Skilled manipulator of data using Alteryx and/or tools such as Python.
- Python skillset is desirable but not necessary. This role comes with the opportunity to learn Python further.
- Attention to detail, able to quickly identify and resolve potential data quality issues.
- Strong business relationship manager, understanding complex briefs, managing customer expectations and delivering on a brief with accuracy.
- Methodical in approach to managing work output and ensuring deliverables are met.
- Coach others, recognise their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.
- Analyse complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.
- Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
