Job Title: Sales Account Manager
Location: UK Based with regular travel within UK & Europe
Salary: £70,000 + Bonus
Contract: Permanent

Our client is a highly reputable $1.6B Global Company, specialising in developing, producing and distributing a broad range of specialty Minerals for markets including Agriculture, Steel, Oil & Gas and Consumer industries.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Sales Account Manager to be based within the UK working remotely, with the ability to travel extensively within Europe to be customer facing, securing new business and account managing and upselling to existing business and distributors.

As the Sales Account Manager, your duties will be:

- Set sales targets and specific performance metrics, aligned with business strategies
- Actively research, identify and target new business opportunities within Europe.
- Manage a large portfolio for high profile existing accounts and deliver solutions to meet customer's needs.
- Promote new products, negotiate and agree prices.
- Oversee sales activity and develop client relationships to ensure future expenditure is secured.
- Developing and implement strategic sales plans that expand a company's customer base and solidify its presence
- Secure and attend regular client/sales meetings with European customers, with occasional travel to the USA.
- Work closely with Production Plant/Management Teams to maintain knowledge for implementation of capacity and pricing strategies.

The successful Sales Account Manager will hold the following skills and experiences:

- Must have previous experience/background within the Chemical/Minerals manufacturing industry.
- Must have at least 4 years previous experience within a Sales role from a Chemical/Minerals industry.
- Additional languages would be advantageous.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Financially numerate with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent, professional customer facing skills.
- Highly motivated and target driven attitude.
- Due to the nature of the role, you must hold a valid Passport and Full Driving Licence with the flexibility to travel within the UK and European on a regular basis.
