Sales Development Representative, Magic Gartner Quadrant Leader, SaaS Business Change Intelligence Vendor, UK - OTE £90,000-£100,000 plus benefits

Henderson Scott are currently partnered with a sensational hyper growth SaaS Vendor who are a leader in the Magic Gartner Quadrant space for Business Change Intelligence.

Due to their recent growth they are now looking to expand their sales development team in the UK to work on inbound and outbound activities.

This is a remote based role (home office).

Description

As a Sales Development Representative, you will seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers in your assigned region.

Responsibilities include outbound calls to potential customers for the purpose of qualifying and developing leads, develop interest from various campaigns and set appointments for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse prospects needs and uncover business challenges
  • Articulate business value of the solutions to new business prospects
  • Manage lead transition and follow up activity that ensures a positive outcome for the client and sales teams
  • Report market trends to sales, product management, marketing, and management teams
  • Generating highly qualified leads that produce new sales opportunities

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 1-3 years of inside sales or business development experience
  • Strong cold calling and qualification skills
  • A can do attitude and the desire to succeed
  • Experience and confidence in prospecting and communicating with senior-level executives
  • Confident and polished phone, email, and digital channels prospecting skills
  • Ability to work in a team-goal oriented environment, and a proven track record in exceeding quota
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to proactively recommend ideas and execute planned activities
  • Excellent knowledge of sales development, lead generation practices, and principles
  • Salesforce experience - an advantage
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Details oriented
