Job description

Are you a dynamic, passionate and creative Ancient Languages Tutor? Then join us to develop and teach our Sanskrit language course, helping to bring together people across the capital and beyond and to enrich lives through learning. We are looking for a tutor to teach a range of courses starting in January 2022.

Partnering with community organisations across London, we deliver bespoke projects that support individuals and communities.

You will be a key contributor to our thriving School of Languages and Cultures, where our expert tutors teach over 30 Ancient and Modern world languages at all levels.

Please submit your CV and a covering letter, detailing your skills and experience. You will particularly attract our interest if this covers:

• Demonstrable experience of teaching Sanskrit to groups of adults (over the age of 19) at varying levels from beginners to advanced.
• Experience of inspiring adult students to achieve and supporting them in overcoming barriers to learning
• Demonstrable experience of developing resources and assessment material to measure student progress.
• Excellent communication skills
• A relevant teaching qualification
• Experience of teaching online highly desirable
