SEMH Art Teacher - Ealing

Do you have a passion for teaching students with Special Educational Needs, inclusive of SEMH and ASC?

Are you gifted in keeping disengaged students interested during study and enjoy making a real difference to the lives of young people?

We are hiring a SEMH Art Teacher in Ealing to work with neuro diverse students starting September 2021!

Non-exhaustive list as a SEMH Art Teacher

    Deliver the curriculum to all students, adjusting the material should it be necessary to suit specific needs. Responsibility of creating and preparing lessons. You will be accountable for the attainment and progress of pupil progress. Establish a safe, purposeful and stimulating environment, keeping the school's core value of mutual respect at the forefront.
Essential Criteria for SEMH Art Teacher

    Previous experience of working with emotional regulation and with positive behaviour/de-escalation strategies. It is compulsory you hold (or have in process) valid QTS/QTLS. Qualification to the equivalent of degree level in a specialist subject or a related subject You enjoy using a therapeutic approach to teaching. Experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication teaching background.
