Direct Procurement & Supply Chain -Category Procurement Manager, Beverages - Global Leading Food Service firm -West London + Flexibility - £50,000- 65,000

This global consultancy firm seeks an experienced Direct Category Procurement Manager to expand their team and focus across their hot beverage and branded beverages categories.

This leading firm in the United Kingdom has spent over £1 billion in purchasing to deliver client expectations. This firm has won CIPS, Footprint, and LUX Life awards for business of the year. This firm is also committed to sustainability by hiring 250 specialist suppliers who deliver 2,500 local sourcing solutions to the firm. This firm has also committed to commit to reach Climate Net Zero greenhouse gas emission by 2030. Also, this firm is committed to animal welfare within the food procurement sector by instilling a number of mandatory freedoms for animal rights.

As a Direct Category Procurement Manager, you will: -

• Responsible for daily supplier & contract management ensuring the business relationship is maximised
• Ability to deliver products within the given procurement framework
• Accountable for Distributor service levels from contracted manufacturers
• Develop a long-range income growth plan using category strategy

Direct Category Procurement Manager, required background: -

• 3-5 years of previous experience in procurement sector
• Previous experience in coaching and leading high performing teams
• Numerate degree level from University or College
