What you will do

Are you a data-driven professional who loves working with Power Bi & Python? If yes, then we have an outstanding opportunity for you! Johnson Controls has embarked on a multi-year journey to help over 45 countries achieve their transformation potential. You will be part of a central team, your role is to support the transformation effort from an analytical perspective from within the Operational Excellence team.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will join our Operations Planning and Analysis team, work and own data across the EMEALA (Europe, Middle East & Latin America) region.

How you will do it

Work with an international Field Operations team to define a data-driven process that will allow attrition data to be analysis by region
You will understand current data source architecture and data availability for attrition
Work with large data sets, providing alignments of different source data to enable comparative analysis, highlighting, and driving opportunity for data standardization
Build a deep understanding of data analytics outcomes and model usage. utilizing modeling and simulation tools and techniques to understand and identify improvement opportunities
Review business context and deliver data and prediction outcomes
Continuous evolution of predictive models and prescriptive actions based on changing business landscape
Articulating business rules, business context to translate them into data models jointly with IT resources and business stakeholders
Influences senior business leaders on business process improvement and data quality

What we look for

We are looking for Data experience! Data governance, data processing, model design, and model-building phases (e.g., enterprise model, algorithm design, model refinement) on physical, distributed systems, and cloud-hosted environments.

Previous experience in the use of visualisations tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik. Database languages such as SQL, Python are important. Broad-based experience with rapid prototyping and production implementation across large data sets.

An ability to communicate effectively, work as part of a team, collaborate, influence and build relationships at all levels are key to the success of this hire. Ideally, you will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other equivalent work experience.
