Job description
You'll focus on developing and growing the strategic alliance with AWS (Amazon Web Services), working with a wide range of stakeholders across both PwC and AWS to develop relationships, design go to market strategies and execute them in the market. The AWS Alliance Relationship Senior Manager will work closely with the Alliance Director and the business to support and deliver the alliance sales targets and goals. The Senior Manager works alongside the AWS Alliance Director and lead Partner to manage, maintain, and grow the Alliance relationship and has a measurable impact on the market. As part of the AWS Alliance core team, the AWS Alliance Relationship Senior Manager brings momentum and focus to the annual planning process, and helps consolidate and execute the overall AWS Alliance strategy. The AWS Alliance Relationship Senior Manager is key in engaging business and sector teams in sales enablement in relation to our AWS propositions, and overarching business development campaigns and activities that drive increased demand generation across multiple channels
You will work closely with the AWS Alliance Director, AWS lead Partner sponsor and our cloud transformation practitioners be responsible for:
- Support annual planning cycle at sector level to build overall Alliance strategy internally and with AWS.
- Manage and maintain an operational rhythm in relation to sales and pipeline
- Work with PwC and AWS sector teams to deliver a sales enablement programme to deepen mutual understanding of propositions and strengths, build relationships and identify joint opportunities
- Track and measure go-to-market campaign ROI and lessons learned to enhance next campaign cycles
- Execute marketing and business development campaigns and activities to drive pipeline - Working closely with other internal functions (e.g.,Marketing) on Alliance initiatives that are critical to growth and required to maintain the Alliance relationship
- Develop a personal relationship network at AWS to support delivery of strategy
- Identify gaps, changes, potential scope to deepen relationships
- Strengthen the depth of the AWS relationship throughout the firms Key Accounts
- Manage status reporting to overall UK Alliance Lead, individual Alliance leads, Directors, and other stakeholders as required
- Adoption of UK Alliance programme collateral and practices
- Be an active member of the Business Development team and the wider Sales and Marketing function as a Sales professional who is an expert at building relationships and creating opportunities.
Skills and experience required
- Ideally experience of working with AWS (or other hyperscalers such as Microsoft or Google), in particular the Sales and Account team organisations
- Ideally (not essential) a broad understanding of the AWS technology stack - particularly from a sales/client value perspective.
- Understanding of the market, competitor landscape and partner ecosystem
- Excellent influencing, strong communication (written and verbal) and facilitation skills.
- Able to operate with a level of personal presence and integrity, and demonstrate a clear passion for what you do.
- Experience of working within the Alliances arena
- High level stakeholder engagement
- The ability to get things done, bring ideas in, refine them and turn them into executable actions.
- The drive to deliver excellent client service through the sales process
