Due to growth we are seeking a home-based Medical Copy Editor to join an established global Medical Writing team.

The purpose of the role is to serve as one of the Medical Writing *EndNote* reference management system subject-matter experts and also to perform quality control verification of data against source documents and copy-edit content of assigned clinical regulatory submission documents to ensure editorial, grammatical, and scientific accuracy and to verify compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Serve as a primary point of contact for the *EndNote *reference management system to include updating individual reference libraries, adding individual references, and ordering reprints as requested by Medical Writers

* Review assigned Medical Writing documents (i.e. protocols, protocol amendments, clinical study reports, investigator brochures) to ensure the correctness and highest quality of all clinical submission regulatory documents

* Confirm data against sources and edit advanced medical and scientific material and collaborate with colleagues to confirm accuracy of information

* Review assigned Medical Writing documents for editorial accuracy, proper usage of medical/scientific nomenclature, and compliance with appropriate style guides/guidelines

* Assist with departmental initiatives

* Bachelor's degree in Science, English, Communications, Journalism or a related field

* Experience with *EndNote* reference management software tool for publishing and managing bibliographies, citations, and references

* Experience in quality control reviewing, copy editing, or writing experience gained within the CRO/Pharmaceutical field

* The ability to act on your own initiative and collaborate well with others

* Fluency in written and spoken English
