Senior Officer, Artsmark Development

Salary: £32,615 per annum

Contract: Fixed term until 31 August 2022, working 35 hours per week

Location: Based at one of the Arts Council's offices in Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham, Cambridge, Brighton or Bristol

Arts Council England has an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and skilled Senior Officer, Artsmark Development, to join our inclusive and welcoming team. This contract Senior Officer role can be based at any Arts Council office listed above but is currently supporting a hybrid approach to home/office work. This position offers a salary of £32,615.

In this Senior Officer, Artsmark Development role, you will focus on developing the Artsmark programme and work alongside the team responsible for the operational delivery of the Artsmark award.

In your first few weeks as a flexible Senior Officer, Artsmark Development, you can expect to:

Provide project and budget management for development areas

Consult and collaborate with stakeholders, including teachers, schools, and pupils

Work with the education and cultural sectors to secure new and beneficial partnerships

Collaborate with colleagues across the Arts Council to raise the profile and maximise alignment with policy, plans and programmes.

To succeed in this Artsmark Development position, you will need knowledge of the Artsmark programme and the Arts Council's support for the creative lives of children & young people. You will also require an understanding of the education sector and ways of working with schools. In addition, you should have knowledge of the arts and culture sector, experience managing budgets, and excellent communication skills.
