Blackfield Associates are working in partnership with a global Life Sciences leader in their search for a Senior Product Engineer to join their rapidly expanding team based in Cornwall.

Working within a fast paced, technically complex engineering environment, the successful Senior Product Engineer will be responsible for leading in the planning, executing, and management of complex engineering assignments that involve product design, process development, material testing and changes, continuous improvement, and product/process validation. Other responsibilities include
leading product engineering and development activities in support of continued business growth. Other responsibilities include supporting manufacturing and quality operations through the management of significant technical changes including transferring new products and processes into manufacturing, transferring existing products into different sites, qualifying material changes, and managing changes in product or process designs.

In order to be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have demonstrable experience of product engineering and development within a relevant regulated engineering environment i.e. Medical Device, Automotive etc. A formal qualification i.e. HNC/HND/Degree in an Engineering based discipline is advantageous.
