Rated outstanding by CQC, Mediline is looking for a flexible, dedicated, caring and highly organised individual to join our team and help manage our services. We provide a 24 hour support service to adults with disabilities in various settings including within the person's home or small group services and supporting people with activities in the community and their work placements.
As the Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day to day operational management of allocated services and associated administrative requirements involved in managing a number of teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, responsive and efficient running of services whilst maintaining a high level of person centred care and support, enabling the people we support to achieve positive outcomes.
Service Coordinator duties will include:
· formulating and managing 24hr staff rotas
· participate in emergency on call system duties
· recruiting and inducting new staff members
· completing risk assessments
· drafting and maintaining individual care plans
· daily management of staff support teams
· training and supervising of support staff
· attend multi-disciplinary meetings
· arranging and chairing team meetings
· coordinating and conducting service reviews
· weekly monitoring and management of support services
· other tasks associated in maintaining a high quality support service
We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, adaptable and driven, who is self-sufficient with excellent organisational and reliable time management skills. You will be keen to ensure that we continue to provide quality services at the highest level to the people we support.
You must be familiar with meeting outcomes and targets and can demonstrate managerial ability with an underpinning knowledge of The Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, CQC regulations and Safeguarding Protocols. It is preferable that you hold an NVQ 4 / QCF L5 / or equivalent professional qualification.
