We are pleased to be working with a highly reputable Training in the North West who have won several new contracts.

To support this growth, we are now looking for an experienced Skills Tutor.

This is an exciting time to join a professional and vibrant team who are located in Manchester

As an experienced Tutor, you will receive a salary of up to £24000, pension, and career development.

As a qualified and experienced Trainer/Tutor you will be delivering a wide range of programmes to learners who are from employed and unemployed backgrounds.

Most of the delivery will take place from their offices in Swinton, Manchester however, there will be regional travel involved throughout the North West

Summary of the duties and responsibilities of the Skills Tutor will include:

• Supporting employed and unemployed learners who are undertaking short courses from level 2- 3 level in a variety of subjects which include Support Work in Schools, Employability, Mental well-being and Information, Advice and Guidance
• Design lesson plans, schemes of work, and training resources to meet the needs of learners.
• Formulate and maintain individual learning plans
• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment as required by the Company
• This will include vocational/technical skills training, work preparation/employability skills training, and English and maths training
• Provide information and guidance to the learner
• Working to specific quality and completion of targets
• Helping with the enrolment of learners
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required for the Skills Tutor

• Recognised teaching qualification e.g. PTTLS or Award in Education and Training
• Ideally hold a recognised Assessors Award such as TAQA, CAVA would be desirable or be prepared to work towards
• Experience delivering to learners from employed and unemployed backgrounds
• Experience in blended teaching using online platforms such as Microsoft Teams and in a classroom environment
• Vocational experience within a Teaching Assistant or Welfare to work would be highly desirable
• Full UK driving license, with own transport and flexibility to travel, is essential
