UK/Remote

Permanent - Salary up to £50,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent company benefits

Overall Purpose

The Software Licensing & IT Tooling Lead will be a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing a small team and maintaining the effectiveness of the IT tooling specific to the Services Division.

The core IT infrastructure is provided and managed as a service by the corporate IT department, the focus of the Software Licensing Consultant will be the IT tooling our client's require within the Services business to deliver excellence to their clients.

Key Responsibilities

This job description gives guidance on the core responsibilities and activities of the role.

• Technical and managerial leadership of a small team of technical staff.
• Management of Services Tooling licenses and renewals.
• Management of Services Tooling updates and security patches.
• Management of Services Tooling configurations to meet the business needs.
• Ownership of Services Tooling roadmap in response to direction/requirements from the Services Management Team.
• Creation and maintenance of design documentation for Services Tooling.
• Appropriate change management for all changes to the Services Tooling and associated infrastructure.
• Management and leadership over changes to the ITSM Tooling.
• Requirements capture
• Solution design
• Implementation & Testing
• Baseline management and release
• Defect resolution
• Hands on involvement when required.

Experience

Required

• Technical leadership of a team.
• Software Development, Test & Release Lifecycle.
• High standard of documentation skills.
• Genuine passion for learning new technologies.
• Familiarity with processes and methodologies for solution design.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent time-keeping and problem-solving skills.
• Thrives working under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience configuring Ivanti Service Manager

Desirable

• Understanding of SaaS cloud technology.
