The team: PwC's Tax Transformation & Technology is a rapidly growing team, composed of BA's, Developers & Citizen Technologists.
The team operates across a myriad of sectors and market places, both with PwC's clients and within PwC itself. The team builds and implements solutions to drive automation efficiencies, which range across a number of technology stacks, both SaaS and on-prem. The team addresses the strong demand for technology solutions and works with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and is ultimately accountable to PwC's Tax CTO. (Chief Technology Officer). The team is technology agnostic and adapts to & uses the appropriate technology stack for the requested use case. The team has a diverse background of skills and given its growth targets, offers great career prospects.
The role: The successful candidate will join a fast paced team of developers and BAs. They will liaise with stakeholders, understand requirements and advise workable solutions. They will be responsible for building solutions, delivering them and being accountable for the end goals at an early stage. They will have access to experienced guidance and will also be expected to think on their feet as they approach & solve novel problems. The role has a healthy mix of greenfield challenges as well as core remediation work and the candidate will gain large amounts of experience within an agile team.
Essential skills and experience
Experience in developing deliverables using data extraction, transformation and visualisation tools, such as Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Power BI
Relevant analytical/model building experience in industry or at a professional services firm
Minimum 1 years' full time experience with a strong element of modelling/data analysis using at least some of the tools noted above
Working knowledge of T-SQL and multi-user record handling
Demonstrable experience in Test Driven or Behaviour Driven Development
Desirable skills:
GScript API knowledge
O365 Plug in architecture knowledge (Document Host)
Typescript and evolutionary JS skills
Microsoft Power Power Platform
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a willingness to adapt and learn new paradigms and applicability of ECMA based full stack applications within corporate environments.
