Job description

Are you currently working in Finance and Accounting or looking for a new role in this area? Do you have experience in being an escalation point or first point of query?

We're looking for a Process Team Leader to supervise a team ensuring the delivery of a transaction processing service to clients. You will have a good solid understanding of the developments in your area and will be working in the Purchase 2 Pay area of the Finance and Accounting Team.

We're looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills and who has experience in acting as a first point of contact. Does this sound like you or someone you know?

What you will be doing:

Lead small teams - Motivate and develop the team and encourage communication while scheduling team work to required timescales and service levels
Lead the planning implementation, in order to ensure the availability of required staff members
Ensure that agreed processes, standards, timescales and quality requirements are adhered to
Identify and manage improvements within own area
Update and maintain data base, systems, and documentation
Follow regulatory requirements where applicable and collect and provide statistical data/reports as the need arises

What you'll bring:

Able to lead small teams
Good understanding of Oracle Financial Modules
Highly developed user of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Good at internal and external communication
Ability to manage a small budget (FTEs, overtime)
Ability to set and achieve performance targets

It would be great if you had:

Previous experience of Shared Service Transactional Finance Delivery
Demonstrable experience of delivering CI initiative and/or small projects
