UI/UX Development LEAD - 100% Remote. even after Covid. UX/UI LEAD is required by our client, the global market leader in re-platforming ERP customers onto the AWS cloud
Our client is the leading professional and managed service provider of SAP enterprise applications running on AWS hyperscale cloud infrastructure.

Experienced UI/UX lead will work across the development teams to understand appropriate persona based User Journeys as well as assist with the engineering to create and test them.Will be responsible for ensuring the quality of delivery from requirements definition, through to feature development.
As such, will need to
a) Work with requirements owners to understand what the need of the users are and capture them based on structured sessions when necessary.
b) Work with Team Principles to ensure UI/UX standards are being considered and adhered to
c) Enable cross team collaboration by designing processes that allow knowledge sharing and reuse of generic building blocks.
d) Research and keep abreast of latest technology and feed into product management foundation roadmaps to ensure product does not fall behind and where possible is leading the curve in exception UI/UX.
e) Work with QA team members to ensure new ideas are fully testable and where possible usability scores can be calculated.
Responsibilities:
- Create and govern UI/UX standards
- Work with OCTO management and across Development team members to ensure standards are adhered to.
- Work with the wider business and its requirements owners to collect, curate and manage end user interaction designed and desires with product set.
- Guide team members were necessary on the correct use of predesigned reusable components.
- Assist key waiting with testing and ensuring compliance with standards and where appropriate accessibility guidelines.
- Seek to continuously understand how the market is changing with regards to UI/UX and feed this into product management through the foundation Road maps.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree from a three-year college or university and 5+ years of relevant experience in the UI/UX Role.
- Understand the differences for both HTML based graphical user interfaces and character-based command line interfaces.
- experience in generating user interfaces across multiple device form factors including but not limited to desktop web browsers apple mobile devices and Android mobile devices.
- Experiencing evaluating how best to integrate user experiences from third party product's into a central portal type experience.
- Pretty to work across seniority levels, for example from senior management through to offshore delivery centre engineer.
- Ability to work at different levels within OCTO team, examples being requirements curation through to coding a POC or working alongside a developer to realise a design.
Desired
Experience with Flask/Experience with React. Ability to code/Understand HTML.
