Could you be a Sense Support Worker?
It's an exciting time as Sense has just released its new strategy, we now have an opportunity for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our service in Deeping St. James
We have permanent roles available working 27 - 36 hours per week. The shifts will be from 10pm to 7am over a 4-week rota including weekends. We do ask candidates to be fully flexible
You will be supporting individuals in a residential setting. Here in Deeping St. James we support people with complex health and communication needs to access activities within their home. You may also support with personal care needs.

Your duties can include:
To support individuals / groups within the centre and community.
To provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.

Your required skills and experiences:
For genuine occupational reasons we are looking to appoint a female candidate only (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).
You require a full manual UK license
You don't need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications - we're happy to work with you to help you become an excellent support worker.
Knowledge of multi sensory impairments / learning difficullties is beneficial.
