Warehouse Operations Manager (Pharmaceutical)
Mon-Fri 37.5 Hours per week
Salary 45k per annum depending on experience

Role profile
The successful candidate will be responsible for the running all aspects of the flexible in their approach :

Taking into account
o MHRA Regulations/adherence,
o Customer expectations,
o Good distribution practices,
o Aviation security regulations
o H&S compliance

You will be a key contact for customers, ensuring that their requirements/expectations are managed and agreed services levels are met, In addition they will conduct after action reviews/meetings with customers to address any actual or potential issues, the successful candidate will need to build a great rapport with the wider team and be active in problem solving and process improvement.

You will need to gain an in-depth understanding of MHRA regulations to become a qualified Responsible Person if not already qualified, in doing so you will support and ensure safeguarding product users against potential hazards arising from poor distribution practices. The duties of a RP include:

o to ensure that the provisions of the licence are observed
o to ensure that the operations do not compromise the quality of medicines
o to ensure that an adequate quality system is established and maintained
o to oversee audit of the quality system and to carry out independent audits
o to ensure that adequate records are maintained
o to ensure that all personnel are trained.

They will review and write current and new SOP's, while also working with their team, sales and the wider team to on-board new customers,

Compliance monitoring of staff training/performance management will be essential,
Professional Communication skills are key to this role, as you will liaise with colleagues and customers at all levels

You must be keen to work within a highly demanding sector of forwarding, to strive towards 100% accuracy and take ownership and address issues immediately when they are flagged.
