We want to attract, develop, and retain the best team from all backgrounds, we will support you, train and coach you and have regular, honest conversations about your performance.As a Money Advice Call Handler, you have the ability to make the people you support feel listened to, and give appropriate guidance on next steps that they can take and the help available to them. By listening to our customers, you will explore their situation and enquiry and will give them the relevant detailed guidance or refer them to one our Partner companies or websites. We believe we can help everyone and go above and beyond in the process. This is a role for someone who wants to help others and give back. There is no sales, targets and our main focus is on the Quality of the conversations you have - we are unlike most Customer Enquiry Centre's.We are funded by the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), and our Parent company is The Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) and you will be working with HGS Global Solutions, where we manage the incoming call and digital enquiries through our motivated and experienced Team of Advice Call Handlers.We predominately give customers advice on: Debt, Banking, Budgeting, buying a Home, Work & Redundancy, Benefits, and Savings & Investment, you will be trained on all these Topics one at a time so that you have time to become specialists in each area.Although an understanding of some of the topics that we deal with - you may have bought a house, claimed benefits, or required guidance on employment, it is not essential as training will be provided. We are more interested in 'who you are' and about you, and we can train the rest.This role is permanent, and currently we work from home, with extensive real-time support. We provide you with a laptop, headset and all the training and support you would need. You will receive one-to-one feedback from an experienced Coach. We can fully support part time hours, to work around your family situation, most of our roles are full time with a great set shift pattern.
