We are currently looking for an experienced Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) consultant at Director level to join PwC's Workforce Strategy & Culture team, which sits within the People & Organisation (P&O) structure.

It's a really exciting time to be joining the Workforce Strategy & Culture (WS&C) Team with many clients realising that they need to reimagine their organisation starting with inclusive design principles. You will be joining a growing team who are really passionate about bringing PwC's Purpose to build trust in society and solve important problems to life for our clients.

About the role:

As an Inclusion & Diversity Consultant, you will be involved in both business development and delivery of client engagements, working across industry sectors on all topics related to Inclusion and Diversity.

You will have the opportunity to work directly with senior PwC and client leaders on both diversity and also inclusion diagnostics to help organisations develop the appropriate strategies and implementation plans to achieve better outcomes for their stakeholders through a holistic approach to I&D.

Specifically we would expect you to:

  • Identify and pursue I&D opportunities with our clients, developing proposals and client presentations together with other People & Organisation team members.

  • Lead client engagements on I&D including assessment of current state of both diversity and inclusion, developing recommendations and strategic plans, running leadership alignment sessions on I&D and working with clients to implement those plans.

  • Conduct reviews of people research literature, benchmark data, and industry best-practices and tie back to key I&D talent and people metrics

  • Contribute to the growth of the skills group through business development and I&D proposition development, including tech enabled solutions such as Virtual Reality and immersive training.

  • Collaborate on I&D thought leadership including blogs, articles, research and podcasts

  • Contribute to a repository of I&D strategies, tools and frameworks across relevant P&O domains to apply in client engagements

  • Stay abreast of I&D thought leadership and research

The ideal candidates would have the following attributes:

  • A passion for Inclusion & Diversity

  • In-depth knowledge of inclusion and diversity best practices and trends as well as knowledge of current UK regulation related to I&D.

  • Proven sales ability

  • Proven track record in developing and implementing I&D initiatives

  • Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills and an ability to translate metrics, research and trends into strategy

  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

  • Successful influencing skills

  • Experience of working within another consultancy where you have scoped and delivered client projects

  • An ability to describe the commercial benefits of a clear Inclusion & Diversity agenda
