On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are looking to appoint a KS1 teacher for a full-time position in a fantastic one-form entry school in Dukinfield, Tameside.
This full-time Year 1 position will commence November 2021 and will run until January 2022. As the Year 1 Teacher:
-You will be responsible for carrying out professional duties and responsibilities in a Year 1 class of approximately 30 pupils.
-The ideal candidate will successfully set a vision and targets for pupil success and be confident in using their knowledge and expertise to monitor progress, give regular feedback and encourage the children to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work and study.
-You will be responsible for planning and delivering various subjects across the curriculum. Differentiation and individualised learning strategies are vital skills required to meet the needs of all pupils who will have had varying degrees of success in their educational lives.
- Teachers at this school are encouraged to take a creative approach, seeking ways to positively engage with and motivate pupils. You will be confident in directing and utilising support staff within the classroom, in order to create a fun and effective learning environment for our pupils.
-You will be expected to promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of education.
-You will be required to carefully monitor pupil progress (personally, socially, emotionally and academically) and adhere to all school policies.

To be successful in this Year 1 teaching role, you will:
Hold QTS Certification
Have experience teaching in a KS1 setting (Year 1 highly desirable)
Be available from January and make a commitment for the rest of the academic year
Be subject to an enhanced DBS check and overseas police check (if applicable)
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years employment with no gaps and provide 2 suitable references from your most recent roles in education.
