Digital Web Analyst

£30,000- £32,000 per annum + excellent benefits

Permanent, full time 35 hours per week

Location: Stratford, London Office 1-2 days per week with flexible working opportunities

What will I be doing?

  • Be responsible for monitoring and reporting a comprehensive set of web analytics for the About Cancer website to maintain the prominence of our patient information in search engines and maximise reach.
  • Defining KPIs and producing high level analytics reports that inform decision making and our strategy.
  • Shape all content production to maximise our impact in search engines by advising content producers.

Why this role?

You will have the opportunity to work with the Health Information and Patient Information team who produce the content for the About Cancer section of the website. You will be helping people get the information they need. You will deal with colleagues within the team and from the Technology directorate to help manage the team's workload, provide insights and ensure prompt delivery of work.

  • Familiar with a wide range of web analytics and tools, including advanced understanding and experience of using Google Analytics
  • Ability to analyse multiple data sources and draw out key trends and highlights
  • Excellent attention to detail; systematic in approach and observant
  • Ability to train others and share understanding of key digital metrics and their value and meaning
  • Good communicator with ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior influencing
  • Passionate about digital and responsive to changing trends in information seeking

You'll need the ability to collaborate with others and build relationships across the team. You'll also need to work in a methodical and organised way and be prepared to receive regular instruction and then work independently, using your own initiative.
