Project Manager Rail

East London

£60K - £75K + Car/Allowance - Depending upon experience

Attega Group are seeking an experience Project Manager within the Rail industry to work for a well established industry leading international company. They are working with some well known Rail clients across the whole of the UK and the successful Project Manager will be working within the Northern area of England.

The successful Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:

·The management and delivery of Contracts within the rail environment.

·Where necessary, carry out the roles and responsibilities of Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE), which are:

·Responsible for the day to day management and co- ordination of technical and engineering activities applicable to rail contracts where the company are identified as Principal Contractor as per Rail Standards NR/L2/INI/02009.

·Assist in the preparation of Construction Phase Plans, produce Work Package Plans & Task Briefings.

·You will be required to liaise with clients, internal staff and sub- contractors as well as

·Attending sites as required.

·Manage all aspects relating to contractual and commercial requirements of customer.

·Orders and processing of any variations to contract.

·Monitor and report on progress of projects programme, budget and quality.

·Ensure clients are kept informed at all times.

·Ensure company design (where the company provides design) meets with specification.

·Ensure equipment supplied meets specification.

·Review contract progress, identify potential issues and inform the Contracts Manager.

·Preparation of procurement and material schedules to meet programme.

·Preparation of relevant documentation, i.e. method statements and risk assessments.

·Co-ordination of materials to site.

·Briefing and instruction of installation engineers.

·Assist in preparation of contract quotations as requested.

·Ensure company meets with all on-site H&S issues.

·Oversees site supervisor as required.
