An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident, proactive individual to join a brand new service operating across Tower Hamlets and Newham. The Long Covid Service will work with patients who are experiencing the debilitating impacts of Long Covid. Long Covid, or Post Covid Syndrome, is diagnosed if symptoms persist 12 weeks after a Covid infection. As a Rehabilitation Support Worker you will work closely with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to provide rehabilitation to patients including group work and individual patient sessions. This will be delivered across a range of methods including virtual sessions and face-to-face delivery.

The aim of the service is to increase the independence and quality of life of patients referred into the service. The post holder will be responsible for carrying out rehabilitation programmes with patients, as devised by the physiotherapist/occupational therapist, to maximise patients mobility and independence in daily activities.
