Accounts Assistant - Consultancy - West End, London - Up to \u00A328,000

Your new company
You will be joining a well-established consultancy business as an Accounts Assistant in a small finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be based in the firms West End (London) office with the opportunity to work from home a couple of days per week.

Your new role
In your new role, you will be involved with transactional finance duties, gaining exposure to both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable responsibilities. This role will include journal postings, processing CHAPS\/BACS payments, recording invoices from suppliers, obtaining receipts, posting supplier payments, ensuring invoices are approved on time, comparing invoices received with estimates\/forecasts, reconciling AP transactions and matching\/filing invoices with their matching receipts. You will also need to be happy to take on any ad-hoc tasks delegated by the wider team.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and have the ability to clearly explain financial matters. You will have at least 6 months-1 year of experience in an Accounts Assistant\/Finance Assistant position and possess outstanding interpersonal skills. You will have previous experience working on both sides of the ledger and have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a high-performing, close-knit team in a challenging, fast-paced environment. You will be a university graduate and be looking to pursue further Accountancy qualifications (e.g. ACCA\/CIMA\/ACA).

In return, you will receive a salary of up to \u00A328,000 and this will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
