Business Solutions Architect - Software solutions London (flexible working) Up to \u00A375,000 per annum

The role
This company are looking for a Business Solutions Architect who has experience working as a Business Analyst in the Insurance domain, providing software solutions to their extensive client base, you will be the client's representative and champion at the company, ensuring both mutual and sustainable benefits for both organisations. You will be responsible for designated clients and will gain an in depth understanding of their usage of the solution in order to provide advice and guidance working closely with the support team on issue resolution and the client's acceptance of the proposed solution.

* Working with project managers you will be providing business and product expertise in order to lead the client in the way business processing requirements are met through their software solutions on time and in budget. Supporting the project implementations and upgrades including the high-level estimates, business requirements, functional specifications and user documentation through to UAT, consulting and training. You will hold responsibility for small to medium sized projects in accordance with internal delivery governance.
* In-depth understanding of business and practices of designated clients
* Identify opportunities for improvement in client processes or functionality of the solution and proposing new solutions
* Attend regular meetings with customers in the role of SME and BA to provide business and product expertise
* Contribute and lead business change programmes
* Plan and lead workshops with both business and technical staff and document outputs in business requirements functional specifications and user documentation
* Develop a strong understanding of company solutions that can be implemented

Skills and experience

* Excellent Insurance processes and procedures gained through direct industry experience (Ideally London market experience)
* Specific reinsurance knowledge both in operations and programmes
* Initiate, impact and influence
* Strong knowledge of project methodology
* Demonstrable aptitude for analysing application issues and solving problems
* Understand all phases of development lifecycle and risks associated to each phase
* Available to travel to client sits as required
