The Company

A global law firm providing the worlds biggest preeminent corporations and financial institutions with a full business law service. They have offices across Europe, the United States, Canada, Latin America, Asia, Australia, Africa and the Middle East, and work across all the key industry sector.

The Role

* Develop and own the modern workplace roadmap, working with the CTO, global IT, and regional IT leads
* Develop high-level and low-level designs for modern workplace solutions and services aligned to the business
* Provide technical expertise, leadership, direction and assistance to project delivery, regional technical leads and engineering teams
* Define operational processes, governance, controls and run books for the modern workplace services
* Lead technical implementation and operational management of global modern workplace services
* Research emerging technologies, propose technologies and develop business cases that deliver IT & business value

You

* Demonstrable experience in architecting, designing and implementing the MS solution stack
* Experience in transformation of legacy EUC services to modern workplace supporting the changing needs of a digital business with a mobile workforce
* Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively convey complex ideas
* Excellent technical leadership, collaboration, and matrix-management skills
* Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment managing with strong organisation skills
* Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a senior modern workplace engineer, solution designer, or architect

Technical

* Windows 10 Lifecycle Management including Autopilot
* Modern Endpoint Management (MS InTune MDM & MAM, SCCM)
* MS Always on VPN or similar zero-trust based solutions
* Identity and Access Management (including AAD, SSO, MFA)
* M365 Suite (Office Apps, Teams & Enterprise Voice, OneDrive, Exchange)
* Significant Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (MS Windows Virtual Desktop, Citrix)
* Powershell scripting and process automation (DevOps background will be an advantage)
