Interim Procurement Manager, Central Government, 3 month contract, up to \u00A3424.27 per day - Inside IR35

Your new company
An excellent position has arisen for an senior procurement manager to join a national tourism agency on a 3 month contract.

Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for delivering the management of procurement activity across multiple categories of spend including marketing, digital & IT, HR & Professional Services and Estates. You will provide expert leadership and advice to teams and stakeholders, manage the procurement of key requirements through established procurement routes for example CCS and Find a Tender to deliver on value for money. You will have a strong in-depth understanding of supply chain and supply chain management. In this role, you will be part of the procurement leadership team to support the Head of Procurement in delivering a revised approach to Procurement activities.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will have proven experience at senior management level, working in public sector procurement, able to deliver significant savings against demanding timescales, experience of owning large categories of spend and have excellent stakeholder management experience. You will be familiar with all Public Sector Regulations. The successful candidate will provide support on contract management and review the progress of existing projects.
