Job description

An Outstanding special needs school for students aged 11-19 in Mile End is currently seeking two dynamic learning support assistants to join their team.

Based in a exceptionally well-resourced, purpose built site literally minutes from Mile End Station, this fantastic school supports students in the secondary age group who have a range of complex and profound learning difficulties. Offering a learner-centred curriculum within a supportive community, they aim to ensure that every student can reach their full potential, regardless of need.

They are currently seeking two learning support assistants to work across their age range on a full time, ongoing basis. The school offer excellent staff development opportunities from day one, and there is an opportunity for successful applicants to progress to a permanent contract - so if you're an experienced LSA or care worker looking for a new role, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your practice!

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with young people or adults who have complex additional needs, including behavioural needs such as autism. All candidates must be willing to do personal care, and should have a reliable attitude. Most importantly, successful candidates will have a genuine commitment to working with young people with additional needs.
