Operations PMO London (flexible working) Up to \u00A375,000 per annum

I am currently working with a multinational accounting, tax, consulting and business advisory firm that provides advice and solutions to businesses need to navigate the ever-changing world. To ensure they can deliver the best service they have an IT team that collaborates with every department to develop, explore, and implement new ideas that help to change the future of accounting, tax and business consulting. Regularly looking for the future of financial technical solutions, they find new and creative solutions to drive them forwards.

The role
This client is looking for an Operations PMO that will help both leadership and management of change capability in the PMO function, responsible for various methods of practices around improving the overall PM maturity across the firm, tracking and reporting the alignment of plans and expectations of initiatives. This role will also be responsible for supporting and enabling the firm's projects, programmes, strategy of the firm and meets the goals set by the Board, with main responsibilities being:

* Responsible for developing, documenting, implementing and maintaining all key PMO services (including portfolio planning, financials, resource management, risk and issue management, reporting, governance, engagement and assurance activities) whilst delegating responsibility to maximise own effectiveness
* Develop and be the owner of change standards, engagement models, templates and examples, and lead continuous improvement \/ maturity
* Develop, implement and maintain effective Portfolio \/ Programme \/ Project tools and manage supplier \/ product owner engagement
* Develop and maintain a central repository for reports, plans, funding requests, change requests, decisions and ensure timely updates to support associated governance
* Develop and maintain user focused reporting frameworks that provide valuable insights and are easily digestible by senior stakeholders \/ decision makers
* Establish, maintain and mature delivery governance defining clear roles and responsibilities \/ accountabilities aligned to 'right-sized' corporate governance practices
* Lead pro-active health checks and reviews supporting project teams in implementing findings and recommendations. Proportionately escalating areas of concern

* Change Portfolio Applications and Tools: Office, P3M tools, SharePoint, MS Teams, Accounting software, Power BI, etc)
* Developing and embedding 'right-sized' change delivery, governance and assurance methods, controls and maturity models (idea to realisation)
* Service management concepts and frameworks (eg ITIL)
* Organisational governance structures and associated relationships
* Strong understanding of current and emerging portfolio of change and how it adds value
