PMO Planner London Up to \u00A340,000 per annum

The organisation
I am currently working with a FTSE 250 leading business-to-business media group focused on international finance, metals and commodities sectors. A leading provider of economic and investment research and runs extensive portfolio of conferences, seminars and training courses for the financial and commodities markets. The client has historically acquired a number of businesses and operated in an entrepreneurial manner with limited focus on aligning finance systems or processes across the group. Consequently, a number of different systems and business processes have been adopted for invoicing, billing, calculation of recognised and deferred revenue, accounts receivable, credit management, banking, inter-company, currency, accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledger operations and reporting. The complex technical and process landscape has resulted in a large number of interfaces between systems.

The role
This role is required as part of the Global Finance Transformation Programme (GFTP) portfolio that is expanding to include projects such as NetSuite implementation. This role will be providing support on the programme implementation a group-wide finance transformation programme. You will be responsible for managing status reporting, maintenance of Task Level Plans, Resource Management, Reporting Logs and ensuring project governance is adhered to.

* Provide GFTP Planning resource
* Identifying and tracking progress of detailed tasks for all workstreams against project milestones
* Managing and updating of key project planning updates for status reporting

Key skills & experience

* Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written)
* Strong relationship building skills with the Programme Team
* Excellent planning skills
* Attention to details
* Experience of PMO Planning within a Finance and\/or HCM Transformation Programme
* Experience responding to change in a fast-moving commercial environment
* Experience of utilising project management software to build and report Project Plans
* Demonstrable strong collegiate relationships at all stakeholder levels
* Previous project support experience
* General administrative skills
