Harris Hill are delighted to be supporting Consumers International in their search for a Lead, Fair Digital Finance Training.

Location: Remote
Managed by: Head, Fair Digital Finance Accelerator
Contract:Fixed till September 2024
Salary: 35,000-40,000 per annum, dependent on experience

The role:
The Lead, Fair Digital Finance Training is a newly created role at Consumers International to build and deliver a global training programme for consumer advocates, that will impact the lives of millions of people across the world.
The programme seeks to change the way consumers interact with digital financial services and bring about a fair digital financial marketplace which is accessible to all consumers by influencing decision-makers to implement consumer-centred digital financial services policy and products.
It will implement a range of interventions which will strengthen the consumer advocacy movement, elevate independent consumer voice, and champion the role of consumer representation in decision-making processes at the national, regional and international level.
The programme has been designed in partnership with Consumers Internationals membership and key marketplace stakeholders.
We are looking for a training programme designer with extensive experience working in or with lower- and middle-income countries.
The Lead will build a body of knowledge, materials such as case studies;
design and deliver modular training courses;
and create and implement train the trainer schemes to strengthen consumer advocates around the world.
The Lead will have a passion for empowering people with skills and be knowledgeable about consumer protection.
They will run the training programme from January 2022 to completion in September 2024.
Person specification
Proven experience of designing and delivering training programmes in Lower to Middle Income Countries
Strong experience in monitoring, learning and evaluation
Significant experience of managing consultants and stakeholders across countries
Understanding of digital financial services
Understanding of advocacy strategies and processes related to social change
