Quality Engineering Manager - Hampshire - Permanent

A leading Medical Device manufacturing organisation, based on the South Coast, are currently looking for a Quality Engineering Manager, to join their team, on a permanent basis.

The core responsibility of the role will be to lead a team comprising of Quality Engineers, Quality Improvers and Microbiology. This role gives you the opportunity to manage and continuously improve the Quality Engineering processes, including - New Product Introduction, Change Management, Risk Management and Process Validation

Other key responsibilities include:

Lead continuous improvement activities associated with Quality Engineering processes
Provide guidance and quality engineering resource to the Life Cycle Management and Research and Development groups relating to New Product Introduction
Manage the team overseeing the change management process and liaise with Global & Regional Regulatory and Quality teams to complete regulatory impact assessments
In relation to regulatory and third-party audits, responsible for the execution and management of actions relating to Quality Engineering processes
Responsible for the Risk Management and Process Validation systems in UK Manufacturing
To ensure that all quality standards and regulatory training is completed
Ensure that the team are conversant with all aspects of Company safety and COSHH regulations as well as the required level of GMPIn order to be considered for the role of Quality Engineering Manager, you will have a previous background within a Medical or Pharmaceutical organisation and be familiar ISO 13485/14971. You will need a strong technical background within quality engineering and a basic understanding of manufacturing processes, as well as previous experience managing teams.
