Global telecommunications firm looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the team to take ownership of the network governance projects for the wider business.

Your new role
My client is looking for a passionate Senior Project Manager to join our newly formed Demand & Risk Management team to engage with Strategic Architecture Assessment teams (Network, IT and Security) and procurement to establish Impact Assessment on NSEs supplier landscape.

You will be required to define and design governance that will administer compliance with TSRs amongst NSE suppliers. Update existing due diligence process to build additional checks in required by TSRs. Map vendor touch points and agree best place to administer compliance with the TSRs. Introduce a control to ensure security schedules and other relevant appendices to supplier contracts are reviewed and uplifted periodically. This role will also provide the necessary technical input to ensure successful project viability, start-up through to project closure.

What you'll need to succeed

* Proven track record in a project delivery, planning, operations or complex business collaborative environment leading a Transition Project.
* The ability to manage virtual teams working on a number of concurrent large cross functional projects with a successful track record of delivering such projects.
* Experience in a multi-disciplined and commercial environment.
* Knowledge of risk trade off options and their impact on project success
* Ability to understand complex organisational designs and structures and understands how to relate these to the project being managed.
* Ability to control and report on project finance budget, to provide accurate and timely response
* Wide experience in the telecommunications\/ Broadband \/ cable TV industry Advanced stakeholder management, negotiation and conflict management skills
* Ability to engage and manage stakeholders effectively, resolving issues and understanding drivers\/needs
* Ability to respond to challenging priorities with a sense of urgency and pace.
* Bounce back from disappointments with renewed determination.
