£35,000+ (depending on experience)

Workshop recruitment have a new opportunity for a client liaison officer to join a well-respected client of ours based in Portsmouth. As a company they Design and Manufacture composites and carbon fibre solutions to a mix of industries.

Job Function & Key Tasks

Management of the Customer liaison department including training, developing and performance monitoring of the team.

Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders on developing a robust SIOP process, covering NPD, Lifecycle management and Inventory control.

Must own the order book understanding the importance of adhering to schedule cadence and minimising disruption through change.

Be the primary contact for a number of key accounts for the Voyager Park site, managing the review meetings diary.

Share risk and priority information with internal functions at daily Tier meetings.

Ensure transparency of the revenue pipeline through loading of customer schedules into the ERP system.

Auditing and reconciling the customer order book on a weekly basis to ensure we are aligned and no changes made that would negatively impact operational performance.

Daily liaison with key stakeholders, dispatch & operations, to understand progress to the order book and containment required to maximise OTIF.

Ensure pricing information is up to date and deal with pricing queries.

Execute processes in line with the current Quality Management Systems.

Be active in challenging the status quo and looking for new ways to do things well.

Principle Responsibilities

Be the key operational Customer facing role.

Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders ensuring communication is clear and accurate at all times.

Manage current and develop new processes in order to add value and maximise productivity and service.

Skills and Experience

Critical thinker and proactive in reaching out to stakeholders in order to drive change and implement necessary actions on a day to day basis

A hands-on leader with good leadership skills, a motivator with strong communication skills, capable of developing and leading multi-disciplinary teams.

Effective planner

3 years managerial experience in a Customer facing Role.

Automotive industry experience advantageous.

Degree educated but not essential with the correct experience.

Advanced IT skills - MS Office, ERP, EDI, CRM
