Your new company
I'm recruiting for a data focussed business that has just gone through a merger and is about to undergo a period of expansion. With new private equity backing they are in a position to add an additional developer to their team on the outskirts of Southampton (easily accessible from all surrounding areas).

The roles suits either a mid-level or senior developer and will offer hybrid working after Covid. Candidates must be happy to travel and work from their Southampton office at least 1 day per week as they want to embrace flexibility but want to avoid staff becoming isolated.

Your new role
The Development Manager has seen the business grow from 8 to 80 during his tenure and it's an exciting time to be joining. He's ensured they've kept the right friendly culture in-house and they will always hire on personality, hence the openness on level of seniority here.

There is a busy pipeline of work here, specifically they offer two main product lines and you will have the opportunity to work on both. They run Agile and want everyone to contribute, so they support suggestions on tech \/ processes. You'll be liaising with various internal departments so communication skills must be very strong.

Though you're joining a well-established team there are good progression opportunities available with the investment they've received, so this should be seen as a career opportunity.

What you'll need to succeed
We're looking a Database Developer highly proficient using Oracle PL\/SQL. You must have worked with Oracle 12c or later, and SQL programming will be second nature to you.

By nature these roles require strong problem solving \/ mathematical competency and good communication skills to work across tech and other departments.

As stated above, the roles are open from Mid-Level to Senior level, so naturally as you move up in seniority, the expectations will rise to be selected for interview.
