New contract job for a Senior Environment and Release Manager with Azure DevOps experience

We have an exciting contract opportunity available for a highly-motivated Senior Environment and Release Engineer to join our client.This is a technical and analytical hands-on role where you will be working across a delivery function made up of multiple workstreams, delivering on the organisation's biggest strategic programme to date

What you will be doing
The PSGA (Public Sector Geospatial Agreement) sets out how the client provides world-leading location expertise to the public sector, developers and Partners across Britain - to support the delivery of critical infrastructure and services - from blue lights to streetlights. You will be taking ownership of the test environments, ensuring they are fit for purpose and have the latest codebase for testing. Standing up new environments as required. Taking ownership of testing release processes, investigating and implementing process improvements where necessary. Performing data analysis (variations of data, how much data) to drive maximum test coverage. Implementing any data security requirements as required. Co-ordinating and leading the release activities for go-live.

What they are looking for
Significant and demonstrable experience within in environment\/release management role. You will have experience in setting up and maintaining test environments, data profiling, producing checklists and run books, using and implementing a data management tool, data masking and data security, using deployment tools and be capable of working in an Agile team. Experience of working with Azure DevOps is essential. as is working with environments in cloud platforms, preferably Azure. Experience of using data technologies and awareness of geospatial systems and technologies is desirable.

What you'll get in return
Flexible working options available. Remote working and working from the client HQ in Southampton will be required as part of this contract The role has been determined as Inside IR35 and is offered on a 6 month initial contract with scope for extension. The day rate will be a maximum of \u00A3585 per day via an approved Umbrella company.
